The cottage is set in the hills of Nuwara Eliya, nestled in the heart of town, on the highly residential Upper Lake Road. The cottage is walking distance to all places of interest; Lake Gregory, Grand Hotel, Golf Club, Victoria Park, Galway’s Land National Park etc. and overlooks the heirloom race course.
The Cottage includes 6 spacious neatly appointed bedrooms, well illuminated work spaces and easy access plug points. All bedrooms are en-suite with divine linen ensconce the king size and double beds for your sleeping pleasure.
The house has, well appointed split level living and dining spaces. The space is beautifully decorated with pristine white furniture, a monochromatic, colour palette with wood contrast.
The upper living space has a unique conservatory where one can soak up the sunshine during the day or curl up by a cinnamon infused log fire and gaze at the twinkling constellations.
The old world charm of the toilets and bathrooms are spacious and squeaky clean with hot and cold water on tap,
Windermere is encapsulated by breathtaking flowers and foliage, comprising a three tiered lawn, annuals, perennials and scented rose filled beds. Exotic fruit trees such as apple, pear, fig, etc. are found scattered around the property. The highlight of this charming garden is the custom made fire pit, where one can gather to enjoy a warm cocoa or a chilled glass of Sauvignon blanc.

Do keep in mind that, on any occupancy, a minimum of 2 nights will apply. Linen will be changed every 3 days. We have a pleasant family to be at your beck and call. Delicious home cooked meals (on request, breakfast and dinner) can be prepared by our team at an additional preparation charge of LKR. 2,000.00 per day per booking. A Maximum occupancy of 12 pax (Children above 6 years will be considered as adults) will apply.
